Ive spent the last three hours attempting to add the 20 additional free games.
There is a load more, but thats all i can think of just for a quick list. Finally picked up the arcade stick pro and I feel like an idiot. King of Fighters: US and Euro have variations on one character in particular and also some of them have the blood gone Metal Slug games: Red blood in Japan mode, has been changed to look like sweat in US and Euro regions. Samurai Shodown ( all ) is called Samurai Spirits in Japan region and blood is always red, US and Euro regions blood is different colours depending on the game, and in the first, you cant cut them in half and spill coins out except on Japan region. Puzzle Bobble: Game is the same but called Bust-A-Move in US region. Neo Driftout: US region the time counts different, it is possible to get much faster times on US when compared to Euro and Japan regions Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusas Revenge (known in Japan as Samurai Spirits Amakusa Kourin, loosely translated to 'Samurai Spirits: Amakusas Descent') is a 2D historical-fantasy weapon-based fighting game developed and released by SNK for arcades (running Neo Geo MVS hardware) and the Neo Geo AES on November 29, 1996.
Thrash Rally: The car names are different on the Japan region. Prehistoric Isle 2: Again, Japan mode is different to US and EuroĪero Fighters 3: Different name in Japan, but Japan and US regions are the same apart from the language and name, this time the Euro version is harder. Strikers 1945 PLUS: Japan region is harder and US/ Euro are the same
There is a few games that do vary abit with the different regions, such as these below: Someone else might be able to put that another way to make it easier to understand. NAM 1975 is another one, if you put that on AES mode there is no difficulty selection, BUT if you go into the softdip before playing, you can set all the softdip settings that are normally only available on the MVS version, and they all work regardless of whether youre on AES or MVS mode. Metal Slug 2 is a good example you can try, if you set the number of lives to a higher value than 5 in the softdip when on AES mode, then start the game up, youll have the number of lives you set in the softdip unless you go into the options and change it again. The MVS softdip settings work in some games, even when set to AES. Click to expand.I do usually play on an AES, but i do also have a 4 slotter with a UniBIOS which i always use on AES mode.
